Gauging Station
The T.L. Green Biscuit & Cracker Gauging Station utilizes parallel hardened solid steel rolls to reduce the thickness of a dough sheet as part of a dough sheeting production line for crackers, pizza or potato snacks. The rolls are solid steel to prevent deflection and can be water cooled as an optional feature. The drive arrangement and sheet positioning system provides precise control of dough sheet thickness. An optional laser-based dough flow control provides automatic and precise dough feed through the station in order to maintain dough density, laminations and finished product weights. A discharge conveyor delivers the sheet to subsequent Gauging Stations or to the Rotary Cutting Station.
