Ingredient Metering Systems
The proper metering of raw materials is absolutely essential to successful continuous mixing applications. Our liquid metering systems are based on the principle that shorter distances and lower pressures are the keys to accurate metering. Our liquid metering systems consist of a small tank above the mixer which supplies a pump that pushes the liquids through a mass flow meter and into the mixer. The entire system is PID controlled by a PC controller. Accuracy can be controlled with variation of less than .5%.
ExACT Mixing Dry metering is based on Loss-in-Weight technology. The dry materials are weighed automatically as they enter the Continuous Mixer, and again, PID technology is used to control the rate of the dry stream.
