SPECTRUM Multi-Pass Dryer
The SPECTRUM Multi – Pass Dryer reduces the moisture inside the product for optimal quality and storage characteristics. The Dryer is typically the last machine in the production line before the packaging system.
Inside the Dryer, product is passed along three different conveyors while hot air is forced through the product pile from above or below the conveyor belt. The forced air is distributed by plenums surrounding the conveyor belts that are connected to the penthouse on top of the dryer where the air is heated.
The Dryer may be tied into the control system of the machinery preceding it, but is controlled independently for precise modification of the moisture removed during the process.
