Guillotine Cutter
The Reading Pretzel Guillotine Cutter is designed to uniformly cut products before or after baking. Accurate cutting control allows the operator to create a product size as short as one inch (25 mm) with the press of a button. Cutters can be built as standalone machines or integrated into an existing production frame and control system.
Guarding around the Cutter is designed to allow observation of the cutting process without endangering personnel. Operators can control the cut mode and speed of the Cutter from a local control panel during operation. Emergency stops immediately stop the blade motion and transfer conveyor belts.
The Guillotine Cutter is designed for a range of cutting profiles and modes to accommodate changing production requirements. The Cutter can be operated in a continuous mode at up to 175 cuts per minute, or a cycle mode at speeds up to 50 cuts per minute.
For very sticky or brittle products, an ultrasonic cutting option is available.
