T.L. Green Biscuit & Cracker and Reading Pretzel & Snack, divisions of Reading Bakery Systems,
offer a variety of processing lines capable of producing a wide range of snack products, such as
cookies, crackers, fabricated potato chips, pretzels and bread snack products.
ExACT Mixing, a new division of Reading Bakery Systems, offers innovative continuous mixing solutions to
several industries, including baked snacks, pet treats, sweet goods, pizza and tortillas.
The headquarters of Reading Bakery Systems is located in Robesonia, Pennsylvania, an hour and a half drive northwest of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The majority of all T. L. Green Biscuit & Cracker, Reading Pretzel & Snack and ExACT Mixing equipment is manufactured at the main plant in Robesonia. We also have a smaller manufacturing plant in Indianapolis, Indiana, where Thomas L. Green Company has been for over 100 years.

T. L. Green Biscuit & Cracker Equipment
For over 110 years, The Thomas L. Green Company has delivered performance and reliability to producers of biscuits, crackers,
sheeted snacks and other baked products.
Since T.L. Green joined Reading Bakery Systems in April 2001, this tradition has been taken to a new level. T.L. Green Biscuit & Cracker equipment now offers a fully redesigned range of biscuit and cracker equipment. The equipment, equipped with state-of-the-art controls, delivers unprecedented piece weight consistency, uniform dough textures and dimensional stability.
Reading Pretzel & Snack Equipment
E.I. Groff and H.S. Gipe partnered in the founding of Reading Pretzel Machinery in 1947.
E.I. Groff patented the first, commercially successful automatic Pretzel Twisting Machine,
which solved the automation of twisting pretzels, a problem that had existed since the pretzel had been invented in the 12th century.
E. Terry Groff joined his father at Reading Pretzel Machinery in 1974. Since then, Reading has made many additional developments in the pretzel industry including the first combination baking and drying oven, and the first fully integrated pretzel production line, which is still running after being commissioned over 50 years ago. Today, Reading Pretzel & Snack is the undisputed leader worldwide for pretzel production systems.
Reading Pretzel & Snack also supplies a wide range of baked and fried potato snack and bread snack equipment to the food industry.
ExACT Mixing
Over the last 20 years, ExACT Mixing has become one of the world's most innovative developers of
continuous mixing solutions. ExACT and Reading have worked together for over 15 years, and ExACT
officially became a division of RBS in January 2008. ExACT Mixers are now designed, manufactured,
installed and supported by RBS manufacturing and technical staff. Continuous Mixers are a proven
solution in the baked snack, pet treat, sweet goods, pizza and tortilla industries.
