Omega II Dispenser
The Thomas L. Green Omega II Dispenser is suitable for use with a wide range of small particulate toppings, including flour, sugars and spices. A rotating paddle agitator within the Dispenser hopper ensures the topping material won't bridge and cause a loss in consistent flow. The dispensing element of the Omega II is a series of paddles designed to force the material through a mesh screen mounted below them. The screen is sized to the material being used and the dispensing rate requirements.
Topping material that does not adhere to the product is captured underneath the transfer conveyor belt. Operators may add collected material manually through the access doors on top of the main fill cabinet. An automated recycling system may be installed for greater system efficiency and limited operator interaction. Topping material remaining in the Dispenser reservoir may be dumped quickly and easily via a hand lever.
