With the ever-changing consumer demand for alternative snack food choices, snack manufacturers are constantly challenged to develop new products to meet this growing demand. Although some of the popular new sheeted snacks can be produced on traditional cracker production lines with little or no physical modifications to the equipment, many of these crisp-type products will require substantial changes or even new process lines in order to manufacture them.
