Bill Wierenga has joined Reading Bakery Systems (RBS), one of the world’s leading snack production systems manufacturers, as the engineering research and development manager. In his new position, he will be responsible for developing and testing new machinery designs.

“Bill has almost 20 years of engineering experience, with nearly the last 10 years of it designing and engineering food production equipment,” said Tremaine Hartranft, director of engineering for RBS. “With this background, Bill will be an invaluable source of new solutions for RBS and its customers.”

Prior to joining RBS, Wierenga served as a product engineer for a manufacturer of food packaging equipment, and as a design engineering manager for a large bakery equipment manufacturer.
