Commercial Dough Mixer Machine

The dough mixing process is crucial because it affects the quality of your final product. Reading Bakery Systems offers commercial dough mixer machines in a variety of sizes, ranging from 50 to 10,000 kg/hour, that will help you produce a better-quality finished product.

Reading Bakery Systems, headquartered in Robesonia, Pennsylvania, is the leading manufacturer of innovative, reliable, and high-volume processing systems for the global food manufacturing industry, with particular focus on baked snack production systems.

Continuous Mixing Solutions

Continuous Mixing is the process of continuously metering ingredients directly into the mixing chamber to generate a continuous stream of mixed product at the exit of the mixer. The mixing may be done in stages to ensure all ingredients are incorporated properly, and the process has numerous advantages over batch mixing, including:

  • No undesirable variations from batch to batch
  • Consistent finished weight, size and texture
  • Even dough hydration
  • Recipe control and repeatability
  • Completely automated process
  • For non-baked products, achieve verifiable kill temperatures

The Exact MX Continuous Mixer is our most versatile mixer. It is suitable for many different products, including pizza, cookies, snacks, batters, icings, and pastes. This mixer offers dough production rates from 500 to 6,000 kg/hour and can also be used as the first stage mixer in multi-stage operations.

The Exact EX Continuous Mixer uniformly mixes products with a variety of dough moisture levels and is ideal for gentle kneading of wheat-based products, such as pretzels, pizza, crackers, sweet goods, and pet treats.

The HDX or High Development Continuous Mixer is designed to first mix all ingredients into a uniform mass with a twin screw mixer.  Separately, the dough is kneaded to the proper development level with a single screw mixer. It is well-suited to breads, rolls, buns, English muffins and other high-absorption products.

If your product line involves cookies and other products that require a two-stage mixing process, the LDX Continuous Mixer is an excellent choice. It combines minor ingredients and some flour in the first stage with special mixing elements to cut in fat. In the final stage, the remaining flour is added to create the final dough.

For hydroscopic powders and other low moisture mixtures, consider the FX Continuous Mixer, which can distribute small amounts of moisture evenly into large amounts of powder. This high-intensity mixer is also used for potato-, corn- and rice-based products and specialty baked snacks, such as fabricated potato chips.

Reading Bakery Systems also offers the tried-and-true batch mixing workhorse, the Thomas L. Green Vertical Spindle Mixer, which features mixing paddles that are configurable for different products and mixing actions and are rated for capacities up to 2,200 pounds.

As leading manufacturers of continuous dough mixer machines and a complete range of other commercial baking equipment, Reading Bakery Systems can help you reduce labor, cut costs, and produce consistent, high-quality products.  Get in touch with us at (01) 610-693-5816 or click here for more information.
