Mixing Equipment

Continuous mixing with the Exact EX Continuous Mixer will help you produce more consistent dough, a distinct advantage when compared to batch mixing. This mixer uniformly mixes dough with a variety of moisture levels and is ideal for gentle kneading of wheat-based products, such as pretzels, pizza, crackers, sweet goods, and pet treats.

For cookies that require ingredients to be blended before adding most of the flour, the LDX Continuous Mixer is an excellent choice. In the first mixing stage, it combines all minor ingredients with some of the flour and cuts in the fat. In the final stage, the remaining flour is added to create the final dough. This mixer offers dough production rates from 1,500 to 7,500 kg/hour.

The newly redesigned Thomas L. Green Vertical Spindle Mixer is a batch mixing option for cracker and biscuit dough. This mixer features mixing paddles that are configurable for different products and mixing actions and are rated for capacities up to 2,200 pounds. All mixer functions are controlled from one location, including mixing head movement, paddle operation and mix time.

Forming Equipment

The flexible Reading Pretzel Low Pressure (LP) Extruder enables you to produce a consistent and accurate variety of structural, flat and filled extruded shapes and sticks on one production line. Quickly exchange compression heads and dies to changes shapes.

The Thomas L. Green Rotary Molder produces high definition, three dimensional cookies, sandwich cookies, bars and biscuits by pressing dough into a die roll. Engraved brass die rolls are interchangeable and can be supplied with segmented rings for simultaneous, multiple shape production.

If your process requires the ability to accurately and continuously cut discrete shapes from a single dough sheet, the Thomas L. Green Rotary Cutting Station is an ideal solution. An integrated conveyor system moves product through a rotating die assembly. Operators can adjust the pressure on the dough sheet to ensure a thorough cut and consistent piece production. Scrap dough is removed and discharged from the machine and can be re-routed to the dough handling system for reuse.

Baking Equipment

With the Reading Pretzel SPECTRUM OVEN®, customers benefit from a variety of heat transfer combinations in one modular design. The single pass convection baking platform is designed for balanced and consistent baking of pet treats. Operators control the product moisture removal rate for maximum quality assurance. A dryer may be combined with the oven zone to create a space efficient two-pass baking chamber.

The Thomas L. Green PRISM OVEN is a single-pass, flexible baking platform designed for balanced and consistent baking of a wide variety of biscuit products. The oven offers direct gas fired, convection, and combination radiant/convection baking zones, and each zone is available with a variety of options that will create a cost-effective system with a combination of radiation, convection heating and conduction.
