Reading Bakery Systems (RBS), one of the world’s leading manufacturers of baking and process systems, has promoted Margaret (Meg) Vilmont to controller in its accounting department.

Meg joined RBS in 2013 as a senior accountant shortly after the company was acquired by the Markel Corporation. She advanced progressively throughout the years and today, Meg plays a key role in almost every aspect of the accounting department both internally and externally. In her new role, she will oversee the accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax and general ledger functions, with continued expansion of corporate accounting responsibilities.

“Meg has been a key contributor since day one with RBS. We expect that her role will continue to grow along with the company.” said Chip Czulada, executive vice president and chief financial officer, RBS.

During her career, Meg has worked in various industries in Berks, Chester, Montgomery, and Dauphin Counties, including public accounting, financial planning, not-for-profit organizations as well as government offices.

A Certified Public Accountant, Meg is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Albright College.
