Reading Bakery Systems (RBS), a leading manufacturer of bakery and snack production systems, has promoted Matt Risser to Director of Sales, Exact Mixing, following the retirement of longtime industry veteran Jim Warren.
[Matt] understands both the technology and the challenges our customers face every day, making him well positioned to continue growing the Exact Mixing business while building on the outstanding foundation Jim established.
In his new role, Risser will lead global sales for Exact Mixing continuous mixing systems, working closely with manufacturers to improve product consistency, increase production efficiency and expand automation. He succeeds Warren, who has spent more than three decades serving the baking industry and helping establish Exact Mixing as a trusted leader in continuous mixing technology.
Risser brings extensive experience with Reading Bakery Systems, having worked closely with customers across a wide range of applications during his 17 years with RBS. His background in mechanical engineering and project management provides a strong foundation for helping manufacturers optimize their production processes and successfully implement continuous mixing technology.
“Matt has built strong relationships with customers through his technical knowledge, collaborative approach and commitment to helping manufacturers succeed,” said Chip Czulada, CEO of RBS. “He understands both the technology and the challenges our customers face every day, making him well positioned to continue growing the Exact Mixing business while building on the outstanding foundation Jim established.”
Throughout his career, Warren has played a significant role in advancing continuous mixing technology within the baking industry. Since joining Exact Mixing in the 1990s, he has helped hundreds of manufacturers adopt the technology. His technical expertise, customer relationships and industry leadership have left a lasting impact on both RBS and the customers he has served.
“It has been a privilege to work alongside Jim and learn from his decades of experience,” said Risser. “I’m excited to build on that legacy by continuing to partner with our customers, helping them solve production challenges and bringing innovative continuous mixing solutions to bakeries around the world.”
“Jim has been instrumental in the growth and success of Exact Mixing for many years,” added Czulada. “We are grateful for his contributions to our customers, our company and the baking industry, and we wish him the very best in his retirement.”
